According to NASA, Mars actually has a fair amount of methane gas in its atmosphere. They say that it could be due to microbial life, or volcanic activity (which is false because there is no active volcanoes on Mars at present.). Now, what they don't tell you, is they already know what's causing all the methane on Mars...COWS!
The following is an actual picture from the NASA Mars Rover, Spirit. It was received by NASA and immediately covered up.

Mars, at one point in it's history had a lush biosphere, including water, but then the cows came along. Destroying the atmosphere with their farts and burps, converting it to a suitable environment for them to live in.

Now why does cow farts distroy the atmosphere or ozone? First we must examine why we all fart . All kinds of chemical processes go on during digestion, with complex food molecules being broken down into simple elements the body can absorb to use as energy. Certain chemicals- the acids in the stomach- play an important role in this breaking down process. But microbes also play a key role, breaking apart molecules the stomach acids couldn't or didn't.
Depending on the microbes involved, the end result of digestion may be a little or a lot of waste gas. Cows are not efficient at digestion. This is because Cows have large populations of bacteria called methanogens (meth-an-oh-jens).
When a cow munches a meal of grass, its stomach enzymes break the grass bits into smaller particles. Then protozoa living in the cow's guts break these bits down further into the basic elements hydrogen, carbon dioxide and acetate. The methanogens turn the digested food particles into methane gas. Since methane isn't such a good source of energy for the cow, it's passed out of the body as waste gas. And the way it leaves is what we so eloquently call belches or farts. 95 percent of the methane is made in a cow's stomachs, or rumen, and is belched out. The rest of the methane is made in the cow's intestines and is farted out.
What Does All This Mean For Earth?
This shows what cows are capable of. It's believed that the long gone, city dwelling "People Of Mars" were visited by the space cows. The Martian people were welcoming and kind to the space cows, allowing them to roam free on Mars. Little did the Martians know, the cows they had made friends with were actually agents sent to make first contact and establish a base on Mars. Slowly the cows started to produce methane, converting the lush environment into what it is today.
This is the perfect example of just how destructive and deceiving these bovines can be. History is starting to repeat it self, the Green House Effect is starting to create a climate change. No one is noticing the obvious cause! It also doesn't help that NASA is constantly rejecting data about even the possibility of life on Mars, thus ensuring the concealment of the cows. I have personally emailed NASA multiple times attempting to get a statement about Cows on Mars and they have yet to comment. I will be sending them a handwritten letter soon and that should warrant at least a letter back.
A massive 25 percent of all methane gas in the world's atmosphere is produced by cows. Now, some other people have taken notice of this stat and have done their own study. Infact, in July 1991, the private study group World Watch Institute revealed that methane from animal belches and flatulence around the world produced 80 million tons of the stuff annually, contributing to a "greenhouse effect." We are in trouble here folks, and something needs to be done about it.
